The International University Consortium for Executive Education engaged Percept to help with our members (industry) benchmarking survey. They professionalized the survey, increased our participation rates to an impressive level, and helped create data that has been very helpful to our membership and others. Percept Research conducted an Online Image and Awareness Study and an Application Pipeline Study for the UNC School of Media and Journalism. Both studies were completed with meticulous attention to detail and provided insights that the school continues to use. We met today and went over our Percept survey results across our MBA programs – FT, PT, Exec, and Health Care. I think many of us got really busy during the year and didn’t fully digest the results until now, at least that was the case for me (Part-Time MBA). I was really impressed with the quality of the reports and ease of interpreting the findings on the Entry survey. Nice job! We continue to make great use of the Percept Research data and continue to show great progress as a result of measuring the student experience and carefully reacting to our data. When I came here to MSU 7 years ago I did not expect to find that “customer satisfaction” was measured. Then when I discovered that it was, I was skeptical of what the quality would be. Having spent my career in the auto industry, with JD Power customer sat surveys along with our internally developed ones, I had an expectation. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised (blow away, actually) by the quality and thoroughness of the Percept Research surveys. They have helped us immensely in developing our continuous improvement initiatives.
Percept conducted an alumni survey for Missouri's Crosby MBA Program (within the Trulaske College of Business). The insights were both affirming and surprising (in spots). We learned our alumni crave more news on the program and want to be engaged in an array of activities. Additionally, what we thought were "small touches" in our program make a big difference to many of them. And we received an "opt-in" sheet that segmented our alumni by how they wanted to contribute.
We have partnered with Percept on several projects and have been extremely pleased with the outcomes. Last year, Percept helped us to customize an extensive market research plan. The information we received helped us to reshape our curriculum and our message. Most recently, we used the exit survey from their "Lifecycle." The results are not in yet, but I expect we will get some great insight. Overall, a great experience with great people.
Testimonials are such an important and valuable way to reinforce our marketing message, but they are often difficult and time consuming to obtain. Barbara with Percept Research made it easy. She has a talent for drawing out persuasive quotes and compelling stories when she interviews students and alumni. We now have a suite of powerful testimonials we use throughout our marketing programs.
Percept Research has done a commendable job as a partner in the planning and execution of communications and recruitment for our new Executive MBA. Our goal is to build awareness, create persuasive content and visually-engaging messaging, develop a targeted distribution list, and execute an integrated marketing campaign. They've worked hard to accomplish all in a condensed time frame and have been timely, responsive and are not hesitant to suggest improvements.
In efforts to continually improve our program, we find the value in conducting annual entry surveys from Percept Research. From a program perspective it is a very helpful tool because it allows us to target any areas of improvement while tracking the strengths of the program and admissions process. The product is extremely user friendly and the management team has made it an easy process for us. I have been impressed with the amount of communication and follow-up I have received from the Percept Research team. They are extremely knowledgeable about the content of the surveys and prepared the right amount of questions specifically pertaining to the needs of our program.
